5 out of 5 stars I successfully removed the weeds in my lawn   August 22, 2010
Wilfredo M. Viray (Orange County, CA)
This is a great idea and it is elegant in its simplicity. The process was very simple. I just position it in the middle of the weed, then I step on the handle then tilt it to the right and out pops the weed. This saves me from buying and using weed killers. I did my entire lawn in 30 minutes. It is good exercise too. I prefer well-crafted manual tools to electrical tools any day.

2 out of 5 stars Good design, poor craftsmanship   August 8, 2010
Gary Neves (Chandler, Arizona USA)
Bought this at the local ace hardware yesterday, started to pull the first weed using the instructions and the side handle broke on the first one! Took it back and got a refund. It worked great for that one weed but was pretty much useless after that. Will look for one made with better materials.

5 out of 5 stars Tame your jungle   August 4, 2010
Bass Cadet (California)
This weeder works well. Weeds have overgrown our backyard in the few months we've had the house remodeled. This looked like a quick and easy way to tame the overgrowth and it indeed does its job. I probably spent more time looking for a weeder than doing the actual weeding. It doesn't quite make weeding fun, but yanking those weeds out roots and all is definitely satisfying.

5 out of 5 stars marvelous grandpa!   July 29, 2010
Toni Allen (Michigan, USA)

This is a marvelous gadget ... we love it! It is ALMOST fun to use ... the only thing we have not seen it work on really well is the crab grass that is among the regular grass when it is in the garden it grabs it easily and removes it easily ... I love it as much as I hate crab grass.
This is a great buy for anyone out there.

2 out of 5 stars Not as sturdy as it looks   June 20, 2010

Being made of wood and iron, this thing looks like it could never break. Unfortunately, looks can be deceiving, as the iron lever that makes this weeder work broke off after only a few hundred small weeds were pulled. And my little wife used it exclusively, and she is far too physically weak to "abuse" it. It is also not a very effective weeder -- very slow to use -- so I prefer the "Yard Butler TT-1W Garden Terra Weeder" type (but one made of hard cast iron, instead of malleable stamped steel like the Yard Butler's).
